JPD LOOKING FOR HIT AND RUN MOTORCYCLIST

Jasper police say they are looking for a hit-and-run motorcyclist they say rear-ended a car and then fled the scene after the accident.

JPD says 35-year old Lynne Burress of Huntingburg was westbound on Sixth Street  near Bartley shortly before six Friday night when she was rear-ended by the motorcycle.  She told officers the motorcycle fled the scene going east on Sixth.

She told police the motorcycle was yellow with black trim.  She says the rider is white male about 175 pounds… between 5′ 10″ and 6 feet tall.  He is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s with light-colored curly hair.

Police estimate damage to Burress’ vehicle at $750.
