Charles Michael “Chuck” Woodall, 72, Jasper

Chuck WoodallCharles  Michael “Chuck” Woodall, 72, a resident of the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, died Tuesday (April 22) at the Northwood Community. He was born April 10, 1942 in Jasper, to Arthur and Mary C. (Gootee) Woodall.

Chuck, who lived for a number of years in Ewing, New Jersey, was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed creating leatherwork and crafts, line dancing, fishing, and telling stories of his life experiences.

He is survived by Joanne Fort of Ewing, New Jersey, his significant other for 35 years; two daughters, Kimberly Cooper, Birdseye and Diana DeWeese, Florida; six sisters,
Mary Woodall, Fishers, Pat Gouker, Greenwood, Margaret Devlin and husband Ed, Huntingburg, Virginia Hardin and husband Bill, Louisville, Becky Reiter and husband Dave, Ft. Myers, Florida, and Judy Fitch and husband Dan, Huntingburg; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Woodall.

There will be no visitation or memorial service. Disposition of his cremains will take place at a later date. Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg is in charge of arrangements. Friends may share condolences and expressions of sympathy online at
