Charles E. “Chuck” Hubster, 54, Huntingburg

Chuck HubsterCharles E. “Chuck” Hubster, 54, of Huntingburg, died Tuesday (April 8) at his home. He was born August 22, 1959, in Huntingburg, to James and Linda (Huff) Hubster.

Chuck was employed at the Kimball International 11th Avenue Plant in Jasper for 32 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a social member of V.F.W. Post No. 2366.

He is survived by two sons, Justin Hubster and Jayme Street, both of Huntingburg; two daughters, Paige Cooper and husband Dustin, Huntingburg, and Kathy Osborne and husband David, Mt. Vernon; his fiancé, Tara Hedinger, and her son, Treyton, both of Huntingburg; his father, James Hubster, Calumet City, Illinois; one sister, Connie Cruger, Hammond; five grandchildren; and half-brothers, half-sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services at 5 p.m. (EDT) Saturday at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice. Condolences may be shared online at
