Dennis J. Hasenour, 59, of Dubois, died Saturday (April 5) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born August 20, 1954, in Huntingburg, to Anthony J. and Clara (Seger) Hasenour.
Dennis was a lifetime farmer with his brother James. They were owners and operators of Hasenour Brothers Farms in the Dubois and Celestine area. He was a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church, and a 1972 graduate of Dubois High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Hasenour, Huntingburg, and Irene Van Kersen and husband Philip, Morehead, Kentucky; two brothers, George Hasenour and wife Patty, and James Hasenour, all of Dubois; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, with burial following in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
