Betty Marie Conner Geary, 69, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, died Wednesday (March 5) at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky. She was born July 12, 1944, in Huntingburg, to Rev. Harold V. and Jennie Marie (Emmons) Conner.
Betty Marie retired from Walmart in Beaver Dam, where she worked as a deli clerk. She was a member of the Lighthouse Worship Center in Jasper and enjoyed crafting and spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Christina L. Deweese and husband Kenny, Beaver Dam, Kentucky; two sisters, Glenda S. Lutz and husband Roger, and Judy A. Bath and husband Bernie, all of Jasper; four granddaughters, Jennie (Michael) Baker and husband Michael and Melissa Volz, all of Morgantown, Kentucky, Amanda Workman and husband Adam and Tori Workman, all of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; and nine great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Carl Edward Craig.
Funeral services 2 p.m. (EST) Friday, at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Lutz will officiate at the funeral.
