Two Huntingburg men were arrested on numerous felony drug charges.
Arrested were Jared Welp and Jeremy Bryant. Both are 21 years old. Both are roommates of a mobile home owned by Welp.
Police were called to the home at about 6:30 Monday night after a verbal argument broke out between the two. When HPD officers arrived, they say they could smell a strong odor or marijuana.
When Welp did not give police concent to search the home, police obtained a Dubois County Superior Court search warrant. Police returned to the mobile home in the 300 block of East 1st Avenue at about 8:45 with search warrant in hand.
Police say they found numerous drug paraphernalia along with marijuana, and schedule 2, 3, and 4 controlled substances.
Welp is charged with Class D felony counts of Possession of Schedule 2 and 4 Controlled Substances as well as a D felony count of Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Bryant is charged with a Class D felony count of Possession of Scheduled 3 Controlled Substances and a D felony count of Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Both are also charged with a misdemeanor count of Possession of Paraphernalia.
