Huntingburg police have arrested a Jasper woman on a felony drug charge. They also arrested a Huntingburg man for the second time in nine days.
Both were arrested after the car they were in early Sunday morning was stopped by HPD for not having a license plate light.
Police say 21-year old Alyssa Seitz of Jasper and 23-year old Trent Summers of Huntingburg were in the car.
Police soon discovered that Summers was driving Seitz’s car because she was too intoxicated to driver, but he was driving with a suspended license. Then after a tow truck was called to the scene police discovered a presciption Adderall 30mg pill in the car. Seitz admitted it was hers but she did not have a prescription for it. Seitz was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is a Class D felony. Summers was charged with Driving While Suspended, a Class A misdemeanor.
Meanwhile, Summers was free on bond at the time of his arrest Sunday. He was arrested January 10th on several drug related charges.
