Thursday morning’s snowfall brought with it slick road conditions on Interstate 64 throughout the Indiana State Police Jasper District.
Troopers began responding to slide-off and rollover crashes at approximately 9:30 Thursday morning and investigated a total of six crashes within the next hour and a half. Crashes occurred at the 64, 65, 70, 73, 78, and 88 mile markers. No serious injuries were reported.
The Indiana State Police wants to remind all motorists that during the winter season, slow down and use extra care when traveling through inclement weather.
The Jasper Post covers Interstate 64 from the 54 to the 97 mile marker as it travels through Spencer, Dubois, Perry, and Crawford Counties.
