Huntingburg Man Lands In Jail For Making Death Threats Via Voicemail

Indiana State police arrested 44-year old Tommy Crutchfield of rural Huntingburg for leaving death threats on the cellphone voicemail of a Crawford County man.

ISP officers say the voicemail message Crutchfield left said he planned to shoot the male.  Crutchfield was located later by ISP officers at this home.   ISP says Crutchfield admitted to making the call but said the threats were not serious.   Police are not saying what prompted the threats.

Crutchfield is charged with intimidation, a Class D felony in Indiana.
