Semi Accident Shuts Down I-64 For A Short Time

accidentA Kentucky man was not seriously hurt when the semi he fell asleep at the wheel early Wednesday morning and his struck struck a guardrail along I-64 near the Ferdinand exit.

The Dubois County sheriff’s office says 44-year old Aaron Roberts of Paducah was traveling westbound at about 6:15am.

The impact caused damage to the driver’s side of the semi. ┬áIt came to rest partially blocking both westbound lanes.

Roberts was taken to Memorial Hospital in Jasper with what deputies describe as non-life threatening to his head and legs.
