Ronald Jahn, 71, St. Anthony

Ronald JahnRonald Jahn, 71, of St. Anthony died Thursday (November 28) at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tennessee. He was born March 28, 1942, in St. Anthony, to Otto and Clara (Klem) Jahn. He married Darlene Nord May 17, 1969, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad.

Ron was retired from OFS Brands. He was an Army veteran and served in Germany for two years. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Anthony American Legion Post 493. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was a fan of Indiana University basketball and NASCAR auto racing.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene Jahn; two daughters, Lisa Harmon and husband Steve, Collierville, Tennessee, and Luann Brames and husband Jason, Danville; one brother, Larry Jahn and wife Jeanette, St. Anthony; three grandchildren, Austin and Katelyn Harmon, and Ethan Brames.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Jahn, one infant sister, Mary Henrietta Jahn, and one grandchild, Logan Harmon.

Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday (December 4) at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery. American Legion Post 493 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
