James E. Perrin, 74, Georgetown, Texas

James E. Perrin, 74, of Georgetown, Texas, died Sunday (November 24) in Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. He was born in Jasper May 8, 1939, to Lawrence and Ottilia (Daggs) Perrin.

Mr. Perrin graduated from Jasper High School in 1958 and Lockyear College and the University of Evansville. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Alcoa for 30 years, retiring as manager of government contracts and inventory accounting. He enjoyed golf and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Perrin; two sons, Joe Perrin, Langhorne, Pennsylvania., and Jon Perrin, Kandern, Germany; one daughter, Jessica Pfohl, Alpharetta, Georgia.; one brother, William “Bill” Perrin, Las Vegas; two sisters, Margaret Antley, Jasper, and Emerita Perrin, Bend, Oregon; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine “Johnnie” Perrin and Helen Haviland.

Private services were held in Georgetown. Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper or a favorite charity.
