Ron Durcholz, 66, Jasper

Ron Durcholz editedRonald R. Durcholz, 66 of Jasper, died Monday (November 25), in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. He was born in Jasper, May 14, 1947, to Leo J. Durcholz and Anita (Brelage) Durcholz.

Ron was a graduate of Jasper High School and served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He retired from Springs Valley Bank and Trust in Jasper where he was a financial consultant. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper Knights of Columbus and V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper. He served on the military honor funeral detail for the V.F.W.

Surviving are one daughter, Kelly Eppler and husband Carl, Nashville, Tennessee; one son, Kreg Durcholz, Indianapolis; three sisters, Bernice Rottet, LaVerne Sermersheim, and Irma Kinder, all of Jasper; two brothers, James Durcholz and wife Linda, Evansville; and Leonard Durcholz and Sharon, Jasper.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Cletus Durcholz.

Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. V.F.W. Post # 673 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at St. Joseph Church one hour before services.
