Ron A. “Buster” Taylor, 54, Jasper

Buster editedRon A. “Buster” Traylor, 54, of Jasper, died Saturday (November 9), in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He ws a resident of the Providence Home in Jasper for the past 10 years after suffering a stroke. He was born in Jasper October 1, 1959, to Ron and Eula (Craney) Traylor.

Buster attended Pike Central High School and worked in construction for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding horses, camping, fishing, hunting, and friends.

He is survived by one son, Trevor Owen Traylor, Velpen; his parents, Ron and Eula Traylor, Jasper; his companion, Lela Traylor, Velpen; one sister, Jacque Kemp and husband Michael, Jasper; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lance.

Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial following in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Whitfield. The Rev. Darrell Land will officiate. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
