Tonight’s Will Read (And Sing) For Food Show To Benefit Local Food Pantry

HUNTINGBURG – Guaranteed gut-busting laughs and great music are in store for you to help raise money for Shared Abundance food pantry in Huntingburg.

The Will Read (and sing) For Food (WRFF) players will perform a public show Thursday, Nov. 7, 7:00 p.m., at the Huntingburg Old Town Hall. The show, which offers a unique blend of humor essays and live music, will kick off the city’s annual Christmas Stroll festivities.

Since their first show in Oct. 2011, WRFF has played for hundreds of people and has raised $14,860 for various charities in their community thru 33 performances, their last show netting $1,600 for Catholic Charities in Tell City.

Scheduled performers are Scott Saalman, Abbie Rumbach, Kris Lasher, Marc Steczyk, Ed Walston, Michael Cummings, Jason Recker, the Sisters of Second Avenue (Camille Woolston, Jasmine Ruckriegel, Jade Marinin, Arielle Saltysyuk), and Phil Ohanian.

Admission: monetary or canned good donation for Shared Abundance food pantry.
