Constance Arlene “Connie” Glass, 75, French Lick

Connie Glass final editConstance Arlene “Connie” Glass, 75, of French Lick, died Wednesday (October 16) at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born September 16, 1938, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to Robert and Alga (St. John) Stone. She married Elmer Hughes, who preceded her in death, and then married Jess Glass, who also preceded her in death.

Connie was a homemaker, but her greatest love was caring for animals.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne and wife Lena Hughes, French Lick, and Jeff and wife Susie Hughes, Birdseye; two daughters, Debra Byers, Petersburg, and Cheryl and husband Larry Ziegler, Loogootee; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert “Bobby” Stone, Florida; and one sister, Patty St. John, Wyoming.

In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Gary St. John, one sister, Denise St. John, two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Services at 10 a.m. Monday at T.L Pinnick Mortuary, 785 South Bears Bend Rd., French Lick. Burial  at 1:30 p.m. in the McCutchanville Cemetery in McCutchanville, Indiana. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at T.L Pinnick Mortuary and again Monday from 9 a.m. until the service.
