David Richard Wilson, 66, Cuzco

David Wilson editedDavid Richard Wilson, 66, of Cuzco, died Sunday (October 6) at his home. He was born May 4, 1947, in Gary, to Alonzo and Violet (McDonald) Wilson. He married Charlottia “Charlie” Burkeen January 2, 1981.

David was a 1965 graduate of Gary Lew Wallace High School. He was a former owner of the Cuzco Store. He enjoyed music, especially playing guitars.

He is survived by his mother, Violet Wilson, Jasper; his wife, Charlottia Wilson, Cuzco; one son, Phil McCoy, Calvert City, Kentucky; two daughters, Nicole Littrell and Victoria , Butler, both of Crown Point; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Wilson, Duncan, Oklahoma, and Larry Wilson, Spring, Texas; and one sister, Joann Carter, Rensselaer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Wilson, and one sister, Carol Yurko.
