Paul Alan KlemPaul Alan Klem, 51, of Ferdinand, died Friday (July 12) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born July 20, 1961, to Eugene and Clara Mae (Lueken) Klem at Stork Memorial Hospital in Huntingburg. Paul married Carol A. Gehlhausen on June 20, 1987, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.

Paul was a 1979 graduate of Jasper High School and was employed at Kimball Office Furniture’s Cherry Street plant. He was a member of Sons of American Legion, Dubois County Sportsman Club, Dubois County Shooting Sports, Huntingburg Conservation Club, Ducks Unlimited, National Rifle Association, National Archery in the Schools Program, Quails Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Jasper Rifle and Gun Club, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, Ferdinand Community Center, C.H.R.P and St. Ferdinand Parish, where he served as a greeter and an usher. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Klem; one daughter, Brittney Mae Klem, Ferdinand and her fiancé Jordan A. Lundy, Odon; one sister, Julia Klem, Jasper; and one brother,  Michael Klem and wife Tammy, Evansville. Hel was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Visitation from 2-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 7-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Funeral services at 10 AM Wednesday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Condolences can be shared at
