Clarence Gehlhausen, 87, Jasper

Clarence Gehlhausen, 87, of Jasper, died Friday (July 12) at the Providence Home in Jasper.

He was born in Huntingburg March 16, 1926, to Lewis and Rose (Stetter) Gehlhausen.

Clarence worked as truck driver for Petrolane Gas Service for many years, and later as a night watchman for Kimball International. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed spending time at Dubois County Tire.

Surviving are one brother, Victor Gehlhausen, Stanford, Kentucky; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Gehlhausen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (July 19) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
