Phillip W. Necaise, 63, Dubois

Phillip W. Necaise, 63, of Dubois, died Thursday (June 20) at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

He was born in French Lick February 15, 1950, to Jack Judson Necaise and Betty (Nicholson) Quinn. His wife, Gerri Necaise, preceded him in death.

He retired as a dispatcher for a trucking company in Texas. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion of American Legion Walter Benson Post 76 in French Lick.

Surviving are one daughter, Denisa Carnes, West Baden; his mother Betty Quinn, West Baden; five sisters, Mary Ellen Tarr, Ruth Ann Allen and Cathy Quinn, all of French Lick, Jackie Sciarra, Seymour and Shannon Wells, Santa Claus; three brothers, Tony Quinn, French Lick, Brad Quinn, Dubois and Chuck Quinn, Huntingburg; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip W. Necaise.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, 9640 W. State Road 56, French Lick. Pastor Albert Madden will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
