Eula M. Limp, 96, Huntingburg

Eula LimpEula M. Limp, 96, of Huntingburg, died Thursday (June 20) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

She was born March 9, 1917, in Algiers, Indiana, to Joseph and Essie (Meridith) Miley. She married her first husband, Charles Alexander, on April 19, 1935; and her second husband, Karl L. Limp, on May 8, 1971, at Salem Church in Huntingburg.

Eula worked at Swift and Company in Jasper for 22 years. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and volunteered at the Christian Ministries of Huntingburg Distribution Center for eight years.

She is survived by one son, Randall Alexander, Huntingburg; one granddaughter, Janet Kleinhelter, Celestine; and two great granddaughters, Kayla and Jordan Kleinhelter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Alexander, who died March 26, 1969; her second husband, Karl L. Limp, who died June 6, 2004; and two brothers, Meridith Howard and Bill Howard.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. (EDT) Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Rev. Mark West will officiate. Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg is in charge of arrangements. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared online at:
