Paul H. Weber, 96, Portersville

Paul WeberPaul H. Weber, 96, of Portersville passed away at 4 p.m. on Monday (May 14) at his home.

He was born in Portersville on December 9, 1916, to Henry and Emma (Harder) Weber.  He married LouAnna Traylor on June 17, 1950, in Otwell.  She preceded him in death on March 3, 2006.

Paul was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from Kimball International where he had worked for over 40 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper, V.F.W. Post #673, and the Ireland Sportsman Club. He enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Garland, and her husband, Mark, Huntingburg. and Paulette K. Skinner, San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Cochran, Jasper, and Caroline Braunecker, Haysville; one brother, Hobart Weber, and his wife Gen, St. Louis. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Vogel, and three brothers, Amos, Glen and John Weber.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (May 17) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in the Portersville Cemetery.  Rev. Larry Langer will officiate.  The V.F.W. Post #673 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
