Harlan Burch          Harlan F. Burch, 69, Huntingburg, died at 9:30 a.m., Friday (March 15) at the CORE Nursing Center in Dale.

          Burch was born on April 3, 1943, in Evansville, to Paul Harlan and Alice Mae (Guntel) Burch. He married Mary K. Watts on January 23, 1965, in Elizabethtown, Illinois.
Surviving are his wife, Mary “Katy” Burch, of Huntingburg; two sons, Paul Burch, of Bristow, and James “Joe” Burch, of Huntingburg; three daughters, Patty Burch, Juanita Brown and Angela Kendall, all of Huntingburg; three brothers, Louie Burch, of Richland, Mike Burch, of Hatfield, and Danny Burch, of Boonville; five sisters, Mary “Molly” McAlister, of Newburgh, Lilly Brockman, of Evansville, Anita Arringdale, of Boonville, Martha Skinner, of Dale, and Paula Hess, of Hatfield; 14 grandchildren; and six great-daughters. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Walter “Wally”, James and Bill Burch.
           Burch was an electrician and plumber and worked at Englert’s Home Comfort Center. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He loved talking on the CB radio, going for walks, singing, and playing his guitar.
Funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2366 Memorial Detail. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. A parish vigil prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday.
