Margaret “Magy” Clark, 62, Jasper

ClarkMaggiePhotoMargaret “Magy” Clark, age 62 of Jasper passed away at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday (March 5, 2013) due to injuries from a two car automobile accident on U.S. Highway 231 South near Odon, Indiana.

She was born in Huntingburg, Indiana April 1, 1950 to Aloysius H. “Butts” and Mabell (Dorsam) Schitter. Married to Richard (Dick) Clark on June 12, 1971 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Magy was a graduate of Jasper High School Class of 1968.

She was a subsutite school bus driver for the Great Jasper Consolidated Schools.

She served as the State Regent of the Daughters of Isabella – Past regent of Jasper Circle of the D of Is. President of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board where she did volunteer work at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper for many years. Also member of the (IOPA) Indiana Organ Procurement Association.

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, St. Ann’s Society and Daughters of Isabella, Jasper Moose Lodge # 1175 Auxiliary and the Bainbridge Extension Homemakers.

Magy enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Tuesday Morning Bowling League.

Two grandchildren, Krystalyn Newkirk and Collin Newkirk and one great grandson, Spencer Harlen.

Preceding her in death besides her father is one sister Cynthia Jane Schitter.

Funeral services for Margaret “Magy” Clark will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (March 11, 2013) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday (March 10, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday by the D of Is and the St. Ann’s Society at the funeral home. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. by the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175 Auxiliary.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
